Where do beings come from? Who is God?

Who is the Most High God?
Every child has it’s mother, and every book has it’s author. Also, the world has it’s maker. The Bible teaches that in the beginning was God. He existed forever before all things. And he made all things by his own power- he made the stars, the spirits, the earth, and all the creatures on it. Just as we honour one King over one nation, so God is the one Lord over all he has made.

What is humanity?
The Bible teaches that God made Adam and Eve (the first man and woman) in His own likeness. He made mankind to rule and care for the earth. Whilst all beings are precious, people are made for a special relationship with God – to enjoy and worship him. And we are given a special task – to rule and care for the earth which God has made.
It is plain to see, people in every culture are born to worship. They worship all kinds of gods, animals and people. We can also see that humanity is not like other beings. We have a special power over this world – but sadly, we use our power to harm.
