Dorji* tells his story:
“I was a monk at a famous monastery in my city. I performed my usual duties – cooking, prayers and fortune telling for visitors. One day I had a terrible dream that woke me from sleep. I ignored it, but then each night I dreamed more and more. My back started to have terrible pain each night. I knew it was a spirit hurting me. But why? I offered extra prayers and burned more incense. But nothing helped…
After some time, I shared my problem with a friend outside. We were good friends. If I was not a monk, I would have called her my girlfriend. She listened with understanding. She told me that her friends had visited a Christian meeting, and that a man there could pray for people that were demon possessed.
Of course, I didn’t want to go. However, the bad dreams and back pain were too much for me. One night I gave in – a group of us friends decided to visit the church together.
The fight!
There were five of us. It was already dark. I could hear the Christians singing from far away. The sound got louder as we came nearer. Just when I was a few meters from the door, the spirit seized me! My heart was full of fear and I turned around to run away. My friends knew it was the spirit, so they picked me up. They each took an arm or a leg and picked me up. As they carried me I lost control of myself. I began to scream and shout and became so violent. I screamed and I shook until I passed through the church door, then suddenly it stopped!
The spirit had gone and I felt peace and warmth in my heart. In that place I heard about Jesus, how he died for my sin-karma and came back to life. I heard about his great love and his power to those who trust in his name. That night was the start of a great adventure with Jesus.
I never want back to the temple after that. A couple of weeks later the spirit attacked again. I had sudden pain and trouble breathing. But this time I just called out to Jesus for help, and told the spirit to leave. The spirit left and has never come back.
Today I’m free! I will never fear again. I want to tell people about Jesus every day. He loves all people and has power to save.”
Soon after these events, Dorji married his friend and they started a small tutoring business. They welcome anyone into their home and love to share Jesus’ story with anyone who will listen.

Awesome testimony. Praise Jesus! The Lord of lords and King of kings! At His Name every knee must now of things in heaven, of things on earth and of things under the earth. Praying our fellow countrymen will receive divine revelation of His love and mercy and saving grace and be led by the Holy Spirit to receive the gift of His salvation and from living in darkness to living in light.
