Blind faith is believing something you hear, without proper evidence or critical thinking. So, what kind of evidence does Christianity have?
Jesus was is a real person. He had disciples who lived and worked with him. They saw his life, death and resurrection with their own eyes.
The book “John” was written by one of these witnesses. He wrote exactly what he saw and heard, so that we could read it. This is from his writing…
“That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched — this we proclaim concerning the Word of life.”
Another of Jesus closest disciples was Peter…
“For we did not follow cleverly devised stories when we told you about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ in power, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.”
Christian faith does not depend on only “word of mouth” history, or old myths. We believe in history, written by eyewitnesses. Christians are followers of the living Jesus.
In Christianity there are no deep secrets – you can hear the whole message and weigh it for yourself.
